Neat bike to look at, but it would be terrible to ride.

The story goes the original bikes were stolen shortly after the film was completed, and never seen again. They were most likely parted out - if the thieves had only known what they had on their hands at the time.

I had a Captain America helmet. It might still be at my mom's house. As far as the bike: Hopper's bike would have been better to ride, if not as photogenic.

I've ridden a couple of those '70's 'long bike' choppers and they suck. Mightily. I see these OCC etc bikes and shake my head; what a piece of crap from a usefulness standpoint.
