Pretty generic. If its a good price and you want a 600, go for it. With most of the 600s, unless you want something odd like a Triumph or a Buell, pick whatever you can get at the best price, in the best condition, with the most extras you want, or is the color you like. They are all so close it doesnt really matter.

I've ridden a friends, very fast, fun bike. I haven't checked prices lately but under $4k should be a good deal.

From the advert descripton it looks like a bike that has seen a lot of time on the drag strip, or those red light contests. The swingarm extensions pretty much confirm that, too.

If you want to visit the twisties, make certain the frame is straight and get rid of the extensions.

I absolutely hate frame extensions on street bikes. That said, the paint job is pretty cool minus the windscreen (black would look good). And it seems like a decent deal if the frame is straight.

the rebuilt title means it was down at some point.. just make sure everything is solid and the plastics aren't hiding anything.

Swingarm extensions are good for straight line stuff... ditch them if you want to carve some corners. But with the -1/+2 sprockets, the extension would help keep the front end down a bit.

It needs front turn signals too.

All in all the RR's are good bikes. Is this your first bike? If it is, don't get this one. I have an F4i which is more sport touring rather than the RR's "race ready" setup. The RR isn't a bike you want to cruise on for 2 hours straight... the seating position isn't the most comfortable.

It all comes down to what you want to do with the bike? Race it, take trips, or just rip around town/corners?

Seems overpriced for a salvage bike. Friend of mine just bought a pretty mint 4k mile '03 TL1000R for $4500 with a clear title. Deals are out there, early spring is about the worst time to buy a bike cheap.
