Neat. This makes me happy to keep my beat up NT650 Honda for a good while longer. It makes beautiful noises and is comfortable enough for sub 1 hour trips.
I kinda feel this way about my old XL500s. It's tough as nails, as simple as an anvil, and dead nuts reliable. It's light, skinny, and has more than enough torque for riding virtually anywhere.
I absolutely should love it.
BUT...I rarely ride it.
Which also tells me something. Both about the bike, and the appeal of a universal bike. At least the appeal to me.

Then sell it to me and I'll make it a little less universal
I've been wanting to do a street tracker build on one of those for a while.

Shoot me a PM, it is for sale, I just haven't been active about it at the moment.
Two pictures of it added, since I can't seem to email them to you.
and
I loved my little EX500 as well. That little bike was zippy, handled well. Just wasn't enough for long distance rides or passengers.
No thanks to that link I now know that revzilla's boutique is 5 minutes from me. This won't end well for my wallet.
^^^It is really cool.
The sales folk are fantastic and super knowledgeable. I went this summer when visiting my sis and BIL and my BIL was getting a new jacket. When we walked in the chick working there walks up and asked if she could help, she knew more about jackets and pants and options and features than I could have ever guessed. I was impressed. And she was super cool and laid back. No pushy salesman BS.
Also I try and throw business their way because of that experience.
