We are bringing two of our custom Bikes along with the Hayabusa powered J15 sports car to Carlisle this week. Will be setup late Friday.

  1. Mine is a 1989 Honda GB500 thumper which now has big bore high compression piston, street cam, head and valve work, and light weight stainless exhaust. Suspension changes include tuned forks up front and billet YSS piggyback shocks at the back end. The cafe style factory clip ons have been replaced with scrambler style LSL bars for better comfort and Superbike handling. We are now also using the ETB DigiDash with GPS on most of our bike builds. 330 lbs, 50 street HP, and unlimited cornering clearance make for a fun bike.
  2. Kris's bike started as a Yamaha XS650 but has too many mods to detail.

Stop on by and let us know what you think.

Thanks

Chet

I've always rode big sport bikes like Kaw Z1, BMW R90S, Yamaha VMax, and Suzuki Hayabusa.

I've now found however that Colin Chapman's quote of "Simplicate then add lightness" works not just on cars like my J15 and Fury but even better on motorcycles.

In the last year I've sold off all my other bikes and am now focusing on Honda GB500s. They satisfy all my needs for a street Superbike with great looks, performance, handling, comfort and FUN.

Chet

PS - I'm always looking for other GB500s and parts if you ever run across them.

It might be a bit buzzy but it looks pretty cool to me.
