Picked my new hotrod, today. It started life as a KZ440B. Loving it so far. Have a couple more mods planned, but pretty happy with it as it sits.

Wow, that is a pretty bike. What sort of mods are you looking into? I would not mind If you put up some close-ups of the custom stuff!
How tall are you and how's the seat to handle bar and foot pegs fit? Is it comfortable enough for cruising any distance? Looks great.
Thanks, everyone! Just a couple more shots, for now.
I will try to get some more pics soon.
Quick little list of changes I have planned thus far: Number plate to cover battery, Drop the front fender down on the tire, bar end mirrors, and some filters for the carbs. The trumpets are really nice. Hand turned and everything, but I don't feel comfortable running open for as much as I plan on riding the bike.
The guy who built it (I can take no credit), did a very nice job. Took it down to the frame, removed all unnecessary tabs and the like, then powder coated it. He custom built the rear sets, dropped the guages, made a really nice seat that uses an older ZX7 rear tail light... List goes on. Motor itself is stock, and supposedly put down around 29 hp back when built. Fairly cold blooded at this point, but I think adding some filters, and the necessary re-jet, should help that alot.
Things needed sooner than later. PO game me a new fuel shut off valve. This bike doesn't have an off for the fuel, and is leaking a bit from the current while under vacuum. He had one machined to add the off, just never got it put on. Also will need to replace the fuel bowl gaskets on the carbs. One of them is leaking a bit.
Little thing is a blast, though! Total peach to ride. Can wind her up, and let her go, and still not break the law! :D I grew up riding dirt bikes on my grandparents farm, but this is my first street bike. Riding is old hat, but getting used to riding in the city. Got my head on a swivel, and glad I have all the road course and auto-x experience I do.
edit
I am 5'10"ish. Seat is actually pretty darn comfortable, for what it is. Looks to be a simple pad, cut and shaped to fit the bike. The pegs are just right for me, as my legs come off the seat perfectly parallel, so no real discomfort there. Seating position is very sport bike. Bent over, but not too bad. I dunno if I will be riding it over real long distances. Will find out, as I venture out and about with it.
If it were mine I'd flip the headlight ears and run them above the bars, it'll lower the headlight and put it more in line with the bottom of the tank. I'd probably also switch to small gauges, as they dominate the front of the bike.
Everything else is pretty cool. I personally wouldn't cover up the battery, just paint it black or use a smaller option.
