Long story short. I dropped off the front rim, from my Daughter's moped, and the shop closed it's doors two days later. The landlord is in the process of suing the former shop owner but for now the contents of the building are seized. So now I need a 16" front rim, including brake assembly, for a 1978 Garelli Flex. I'm thinking that other rims from more popular manufacturers could be made to fit. Any advice from the GRM group brain?

Post a WTB in the classifieds at mopedarmy.com

Those are pretty much the only folks that would have one sitting around.

treatland.tv should have something that could fit, same for 1977mopeds.com

I prefer working with treatland. They are awesome

Couldn't say it any better myself. I think Italian moped wheels are somewhat unique, IIRC. I'm a Motobecane guy myself.
