There is a Hodaka Dirt Squirt locally that is complete for $100. It doesn't run but it looks like it has some aftermarket parts. Can you still get parts for these things?

Probably, but they aren't nearly as cheap as just getting a Chinese part and making it fit. The reproduction parts are probably made in China anyway.
I'd imagine many 50cc+ motors would fit. Lifan would be a good start.
Call Paul at Strickly Hodaka, he's the man for parts and go fast goodies. I know of a few closed up dealers who still have stuff too. Weakest link in all hodakas is the shifter mech it inside the sprocket cover and if you toss the chain chances are it wacked the unit. The shift but a rod that goes in the countershaft shaft with three (?) balls to select the gear. FUJI Hevey industries continued of the hodka after PABTCO folded. I have a 80cc that was sold under brand KAMI. 44
Grab that bad boy QUICK! Dirt Squirts were generally 100's, basically a Super Rat with smaller wheels so kids could ride them. The bigger wheels are a bolt on. The left side case should say 'ACE ___' and that's the engine size. Paul Stannard at Strictly Hodaka is the man on Hodies. Don't stick a LIFAN in it, the 100 is plenty entertaining, particularly with a reed valve and aftermarket expansion chamber.

Aftermarket head will say WebCo cast in the space between the fins by spark plug hole and on the underside aswell.

Next weekend I am going to hopefully if it is still available. I am thinking of giving it to SWMBO.
