Last year I went to a Toy's for Tots bike ride and sprung yet another leak in my wrong foot shifted Montesa Cota 247 trials bike. The tank had a few small old repairs and needed some major structural work done as most ~45 year old fiberglass does. So tank was ground down at the seams and epoxy and glass taped and several other blemishes fixed. Then the inside was coated with Caswells sealer..Well as I fixed areas on the top side I had to paint the tank having messed with the gel coat...put the restored tank on the old bike and said I can't do that...painted by hand the frame but it looked to ghetto...so out came the motor...oh joy I found bad crank bearing....so did crank bearings, bored the cyl and sand blasted the frame and painted it tractor paint with hardener. rebuilt the forks polished some of the aluminum but not the parts that will see abuse as that would be wasted time as I plan on riding this bike again. Today I finally got it back together and running! Here's a link to a photo album I started part way through https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.663172257122538.1073741846.100002893081629&type=1&l=117319d15a
