So Import Alliance was in town for a HUGE show downtown at the Georgia Dome.

I rode the Honda half an hour downtown after a little maintenance yesterday. I cleaned it up and took it for a ride on a beautiful day. Got to see some cool cars, (some less cool cars), and got in a great ride. Win Win!

Also, at the S3 magazine (local import rag...) tent, there were some other sweet 50s that made me salivate. This Tomos is SICK!

Neat! Your MB-5 is such a cool little bike. Sticker collage turned out great, too.

Thanks, I keep adding to it whenever I get a chance. I grabbed 6 free stickers at the show yesterday and threw them on.

Sweet little Honda there. Real clean. I want one. Looks like something my 125 pound ass can really handle.

I have a tomos identical to that black one that I could be convinced to part with if you want to make an offer.

I saw your scoot yesterday. I was thinking to myself "Hey self, I think I've seen that before on a message board somewhere..."

I felt the same way about the CVCC that was there. I went "I'm pretty sure I have seen that car before."

Which reminds me, I still need to get you those St. Zombie Girl stickers. Meet up at the Mitty?

The Blue one is mine, I am not as interested in parting with that one. The Black one was my former step-brothers. It was left after a divorce, I was working on rebuilding one of the carbs (cant remember which it was originally from) and need to gather up the pieces. It does run, and runs well with the good carb on it. I have the lower pieces floating around somewhere. Forgive the dirt, it has been stored in my (disintegrating) shed for the last year and I have been busy with working on cars at another location. Note that the ODO on these reads in kilometers. It will do about 30-32 mph on level ground returning great gas mileage (about 99mpg IIRC). It has Auto-mix injection with the oil tank under the seat.

Needs Brake lever Left rear turn signal (repair the one on there, or I need to find my spare) Carb (me to find a few parts and finish rebuilding) Front brakes cleaned up New rear tire (i would probably replace both, they are kinda old at this point, your choice. whats on there is round, black, and holds air (at least for awhile)

Call it a stalled project that went dormant. (got distracted by faster things)

New it cost $ 1300 or so (offer what you will, funds go towards Miata Motor replacement)

Located in Cumberland MD (WEST MD, only a few miles from WV and PA)

Please note, the E30 in the background is ALSO FOR SALE!! $800, 4 door eta automatic, runs/drives. (also to fund Miata motor replacement, and to get it out of the way)

A few days back, I saw three guys in full gear accelerating their 49cc bikes done up cafe-style at full-tilt. Okay, so they weren't going very fast, but they sure looked cool doing trying.

You are one of the few who think so. I get a lot of hate on the 50. Mine is faster than most, mind you, but it's still slow, and old. Almost everyone I work with gives me a ton of E36 M3 for riding it every day. (not that I care...)

I have been run off the road before. Back when I lived in Ohio, I followed the law with it, was within 2 feet of the white line (side of road) and still had SUV's follow at <4 feet, or pull alongside me and move over on me (on single lane roads). This was with me going 32mph in a 45. Happened on more then one occasion and I was 15 at the time. My guess is they saw the tag (required in OH) and thought I should therefore be able to go faster. Scared the hell out of me.

Also once had a guy chase after me, through a neighborhood, corner me at a gas station, claim to be an undercover cop (no ID presented), and yell at me for "being a effing obstruction to traffic. Thankfully I was in a very public setting and onlookers yelled at him for harassing me, guy slinked away. I should have gotten a tag number and called the police.

I do miss going out for rides. I moved to the mountains and just cant justify riding on narrow, hilly roads that I can chug up at all of 17mph or so.

Whenever someone gives you E36 M3 about what you ride, just ask them, "So what do you ride?" Most of the time they'll say, "Oh, I'm saving up for..."

Hah, yeah, they are all mechanics in a Porsche shop. One drives a Passat, one drives a 2008 Camry 4 cyl, another drives a "Hellaflush" Fit, and the fourth does have a couple decent cars, but he still lives with mommy and daddy.

Mine was actually the 1200 right next to the CVCC. You know, the one that was hawking tires for sale on the roof

OH, I didn't know that was yours! That was cool too, but I think it was a little overshadowed by QD's CVCC.

It was nice to see some vintage stuff there. Every other car was a hellaflush EG hatch, so it was nice to have some people mix it up.
