How about enjoying two days of kneedragging, tire-sliding motorcycle roadracing action right in your backyard!

A barbaric hoard of outsiders, bringing motorcycle mayhem, is descending on PIR this weekend!!! $10 gets you in the gate (local shops have discount coupons good for $2 off or print one off here - http://www.omrra.com/pdf/info_coupon.pdf). This will go down as the best local showcase of motorcycle racing talent this year...

Rumor has it, racers from AFM (California), WMRRA (Washington), current AMA riders and perhaps an appearance from a former AMA champion will attempt to dethrone local racers and smash track records!

Come to PIR and watch current #1 plate holder, Alan Schmidt, Oliver Jervis (#125), Tony Porter (#89) and other local favorites attempt to defend the home track in what promises to be an epic battle of 1000cc, 200HP machines in Open Supersport and Formula Ultra classes. Saturday and Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!!

USGPRU is in town this weekend! Watch fearless young guns from around the country battle elbow-to-elbow against local favorites Peter Lenz and Mackenzie Ancien in 125cc and 250cc action.

600cc and 750cc - Chris Ancien (#41) has had an impressive record of winning nearly every 600/750 race this year! In addition to outside talent coming to challenge his dominance, OMRRA riders Oliver Jervis (#125) and riders and back from AMA stints at Laguna, VIR and parts unknown - Brian Pinkstaff, Travis Ohge, Matt Preistling, and Justin Lowitz seek to disrupt Ancien's nearly impeccable record. Rob Tatom (#61) of two-stroke fame also joins the fray to stir up the ranks.

But wait! There's more...

At lunch on Saturday and Sunday, Darkhorse Racing is putting on Taste of Racing (TOR) - a very popular event - Arrive EARLY to reserve your spot. Your 20 dollars gives you a lunchtime session on the track. All proceeds go to the Injured Riders Fund.

Not impressed? Still can't find a reason to head out to your local track to watch kick-ass racing? Check your pulse and read on!

Vintage racing - watch machines time has not forgotten battle it out for supremacy.

Novice Racing - Yeah, that's right. OMRRA novices RACE for trophies, contingency and class points as they hone their skills. This year has a gaggle of fast newcomers soon to ruffle the ranks of the experts! When are you going to throw your hat in the ring?

Formula Female - That's right! Knee-dragging ladies close the show on Sunday, wrangling and wrestling their machines as they compete for the checkers!

All entrants have full access to grandstands (turn 3 and 7 are popular viewing areas) and the paddock to see real-life racers in their native habitat.

Do what you've got to do. Fill up the minivan, put a helmet on Grandma and throw her on the back, just don't miss out on a great weekend of racing!

A special atta-boy and gold star to Eric Dorn of EDR for his assistance in preparing this announcement.
