Anyone know much about these things? I found a guy willing to trade his 2008 Husqvarna SM610 Supermoto for my 2004 Honda CRF250R with some cash piled on top of it. I've only found a few articles and tidbits about these. Been wanting a sumo for a while and the Husky seems like a good deal at $4200. Looks like the one pictured.

One of my buds had one for a little while. He said it was the best bike he'd ever ridden. He's had a dozen or so CBRs, he has one of the 80s turbo hondas now, a CRF, a Duc Hypermotard, a GPZ 750, etc etc.
He gets tired of bikes really easily and traded for a gsxr750 to have something different, but I lusted after his husq for a good long time.
Plus they come with factory Ohlins I believe.
I have done some reading about these and the general consensus seems to be that they are awesome. Great supermoto and great dual sport (my interest). I really want one but am getting some push back from my business parts due to lack of availability on parts. Therefore, I will have to "settle" for a KTM EXC of some sort.
If you get it, I want pictures and a review.
I own two Italian Huskies, but don't know anything about the 610.

Alright I will brush up on my Swedish in that case
And I'll see if I can replicate the picture in my original post.
KTM has repeatedly said that parts will continue to be available for the Italian bikes.
The issue is easily available anywhere. We are planning some rides on the continental divide so if I break something I want to be able to find stuff. How many Husky dealers are there?
I have a KTM690SMC which is essentially the same idea w/ better parts availability. I've been all-supermoto since about '07, and liked them a lot when I was doing a lot of urban riding. I don't ride in town much anymore - truth be told I'm not riding much at all - but when I'm riding to work on the interstate I wish I had something like a VFR800. Sad, I know.
But point and shoot and in the real twisty stuff the 'motos are unparalleled.
