At first I was repulsed, but then I thought I shouldn't condemn it with out having ridden it. It cant possibly be as nice to ride as a Hawk GT, but could be a significant improvement to a CB.

I like it. The diamond plate is kind of cheesy, but perhaps it's all just stuff he had laying around the shop, along with a Hawk rear end and miscellaneous bits.
I'm kinda glad to see that the only Hawk involvement in this build is the innocent swingarm/wheel and front end.
Ok, ok, I know I am just asking for trouble here... Why is this retarded? I don't understand what's not to like here. We like Honda hybrids with pieces of different cars, what's not to like here? I think it's cool.
In reply to Lugnut:
I just don't think it all works together cohesively. Looks a bit haphazard to my eyes. But I've spent a lot of time staring a Hawks in various state of customization, so their parts look a bit weird in this context. Not to mention I don't really care for CB750s, in all honesty.
And the diamond plate is cheesy.

Depends on the relationship of the swingarm pivot and the countershaft sprocket.
On a Hawk, the chain needs to be on the loose side, since the geometry dictates that the slack will tighten as the wheel moves up in its travel. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a similar effect at work here.

this^^
We GRM'ers like Subie powered Wartburgs and Fieros with electric motors...we dont really have the moral high ground to stand upon from which to judge this. Cosmetics aside, from a mechanical standpoint, this is a well executed build.
I looked at it, and thought the same thing as everyone else. Wheels don't look right, and needs less diamond plates. Other than that- it looks badass.

Wheels don't work, front end looks too tall because the font wheel looks too small, the gap over the rear wheel is too big, tail is too long, exhaust ain't right, the drag bars are a little goofy, I hate the mirrors, and the diamond plate is still silly. But I'm just picking nits.
Hey, you asked.
I'd definitely ditch the diamond plate and do something different with the 'tail', but otherwise it's pretty cool. I could envision it winding up something like this:
