Very excited for my first "nice" bike purchase. 2001 SV650, 100% stock, 6300 miles, it had more problems from not being ridden than it had from being ridden too much. Cost more than my first three bikes put together, though that's more of a reflection on my first three bikes than this, as I got it for just $2700, less than I've seen a lot of questionably modified SVs with a lot more miles go for.
PO said he put about 500 miles a year on when he rode it. I told him there's a chance I might clear that this weekend....
The bike it is replacing. Anyone want a running/riding '85 VF 750 in Upstate NY that needs fork seals/rear shock?
Nice score. You won't be disappointed.

My V-Strom nods silently in your direction. Great bike. Fork seals aren't that hard to do, BTW, if it helps sell the Honda with the ugly fairing.
The sound is pretty subdued from the stock exhaust. A guy near me has a less muffled one, and the sound is pure joy. Problem is, I can hear the sound everywhere he goes in the village I live in...I don't wanna be that guy that much.

I thought the answer was always Miata?
That's a nice curvy you have there.

Can't find the thread, but there was one a while ago where it was decided the SV650 was the Miata of bikes.
