Nice! Is that a gold, late 70s super chicken I spy in that 1st pic?

Yeah it's a 78 gold SE....there is a pic of it in my gallery. Just click on my username, then click on the Trans Am. It's a great car....AC still blows cold. I feel like cranking the Skynard whenever I drive it.

Looks damn good, it does. Did it come with luggage?

Just wondering, I'm one of those pervs who don't buy BMWs that don't come with luggage...

No luggage, but that's one thing I'm looking for. I found a couple of decent sets. Now that the exhaust is fixed and new tires are on the way luggage and a corbin are at the top of the list.

Personally I would go with the VFR. You might also want to look into TL1000Rs, those are great bikes as well!

I meant to mention this before, but forgot. I hit the floor when I got the insurance quote. $300 A YEAR for full coverage!! Being a 167HP sportbike I was expecting 1k per year or more, so needless to say I'm very happy. . I didn't check insurance on the VFR, but am curious to see if it would be comparable. When I was looking at ZX-14s the mear mention of "Ninja" made my agent groan.

My GPz-1100 is actuall a ZX-11 on the Title. When questioned by the insurance guy, I said no, GPz. ZXs came out the next year, different model. He bought it because I really believed that. Til I looked at the Title.

I asked what if it was a ZX. We automatically double the premiums and then do research and go from there.

You did well with the BMW.

How's your K12S treating you?

In reply to m4ff3w :

It was a fantastic bike.  I eventually traded it for a 2012 k1300s,  which I still have and ride,  but the 1200 was a blast.  I had an aftermarket exhaust,  race filters,  Power Commander V,  and a quick twist throttle cam and the bike was just a beast.
