So while I was home on leave last month I found this guy for $200. It's a 1978 Suzuki GS750C with 18K miles on the clock. It's been off the road since 1990 because the original owner had health problems and parked it, then I bought it. So, for the past 2 months I've been buying parts online and having them shipped home for my wife to stack in the garage until I get home from the desert in September -- it'll be like Christmas and Birthday all wrapped up in one. I'm thinking of going down the Cafe Racer path with it. Regardless, the ugly fairing and bags are goners...

$200 is a damn good price for a white baby in this market.
...wait, should I have read past the first sentence?
The best thing that wondered into your garage you're holding. And quite a bargain at $200!! Good looking , too.
That kids head already looks like yours! Mini-me?
Great bike btw. Jap 4 cylinders have a great reputation for a reason.
be sure to sell that fairing and bags on ebay. I picked up a black one out of my neighbors garbage and sold it for $50 on ebay.
The fairing and bags will need a bit of scrubbing before I put them up on eBay. The fairing has some of that wonderful moss that grows on everything here in WA -- even if it's been inside for 20 years. The GS Resources forum is great, I've been lurking there since I picked up the bike (and a bit before). Unfortunately for my son he does look a little like me, and unfortunately for his mom and future wife he already acts like me too...his plastic play tools all over the living room...

Those Vetters are worth some coin on E Bay, my 73 BMW had one and I sold it for almost enough to cover the cost of the bike.
