This one's better.

C&J frame! one of 5 built just for the blast.
They're awesome, but I think they're vaporware. Especially with Buell getting the axe, I don't get the feeling these will see the light of day.
The sideways blast is availible for $5000 plus shipping! The owner pasted away in dec 2011 its sitting in my garage now awaiting a new owner. no problems with the pipe. Was painted 3 years ago white and orange has not been run since.
That looks an awful close copy of a redneck engineering frame. In fact I would say that is a redneck engineering cloned frame if pushed.

That's the whole point. I would love to get one, allegedly if you have the blast you are looking at about 4-5K if you do most of the work yourself.
They occasionally do specials on the frame pricing as well.
My friend Ben (of the Miata rat rod I posted here a while ago) made This from a Blast.
Probably cost as much to build as the paint on that gold one, but you have to like the old board track style (If you do, the Barber Museum in Birmingham has an amazing exhibit of these).
Oh man I saw that on bikeexif.com I was thinking of posting it As I was scrolling down but you beat me to it

You mean the original post, the MAC motorcycle? Because I can see some really major differences just at a glance. The only similarity is using a big tube and a curvy gas tank, other than that it's a pretty different frame.
I'm not worried that as more and more bikes go complex there will be soft spot for the simple blast. Everyone will tell you how lame the blast is and blah blah blah, take a blast and go full throttle up california ave in sf through traffic and get back to me. I think most people shift them too soon, you gotta grip and rip it. If you aren't pushing the rev limiter keep on the throttle. The single is a nice torquey engine and with an exhaust make a great noise. I'm having a little issue with mine right now but I'll get it back up and pissin the neighbors off soon.
