I'm looking into changing up my motored bike a little. Would like to shoot for the Imperial Cycle look.

Looking for suggestions on a GRM version of the Imperial Cycle tank. Imperial Cycle wants $150+ for their tank with shipping and everything.
Any OEM tanks of similar size and shape I could find for cheap?
How about the tank out of a coleman stove? Or a pair of matching tanks from old lawn mowers.

That's an interesting idea. I may have to look into that.
Any other suggestions?

I'm thinking of using an old dirt bike/dual sport tank. Something small and low profile such as an old Yamaha DT125, or similar.
I saw a bunch of these tanks from Honda 50's at a swap meet. They look like the perfect size.

Looks like that thing only has a coaster brake. I have two words for you. DEATH TRAP!
Start looking at top tank mo-peds.

Build your own.
This one was welded up out of sheet metal. (Not by me)

BTW mine only has coaster brakes and I've never had a problem stopping.
The day will come when you do.
Agreed, coaster brakes heat up just like drum brakes.
Then they go away.
I live where it's hilly. Cantilevers or V-brakes minimum.
