Sweet. I ride with a Bell Apex I bought back in 2007. It's a great helmet, and has worn very well over the years. My only gripe is the lack of airflow inside the helmet.
This is a 2010 Bell Star, so it fits a bit better than the earlier ones. It flows tons of air and is much noisier than my other helmet, a KBC VR1 Euro. It is light and comfortable. The photochromic shield is badass. Overall, definitely worth the money spend. Not bad at all for a sub $500 package. Actually, it's better than many of the $700+ helmets I've tried.
Aye, another reminder that I should really get another helmet soon. I'm thinking the Scorpion EXO-700 in the neon green.
Speaking of that helmet, I went to a dealership a few towns over, and lo and behold, they had that very helmet available in my size, and it fit great. I paid $20 over the lowest internet price, but I'm okay with that. I really needed to retire my other helmet; now it will only see passenger use.
