I have some MT75 tires going onto my CM200T's stock rims. The front is a 90/80-17 and the rear is a 100/80-16. The original tires were 3.00-17 front and 3.50-16 rear.

I can't find an exact tube in metric sizes but I can find the stock tire size tubes. I know I'll need new spoke strips, too. the tires are wider, but shorter than stock.

What tube do I go with?

The stock size will work fine. It's not that important. The tube will expand and take up the extra space if there is any. I've used 18" tubes in 19" wheels and never had a problem. When I was racing mini stock ,and couldn't get 13" tubes, I'd use anything from 12"-15".

Same here, but wanted back up. I had one bike with a bycycle tube in it as it had odd ball 20 inch front tire...yup 20 inch 74 montesa 123 cota trials bike.

Not disagreeing that it can work, but I've also had tubes blow apart in tires they were too small for. Number of threads on various boards about this (motorcycle, tractor, etc). It's not subtle when a tube blows apart, and can make for a very exciting ride.

There have been threads about the quality of the tubes, with observations that cheap (typically Pacific Rim) tubes fail catastrophically, even from thorns and the like, while expensive German tubes will puncture, but do not shatter or tear, and are far more repairable. I'd have to say I rather concur with that observation about tube repairability and the different ways they fail from simple punctures.

Foxtrapper,

I've found Michelins in slightly larger than stock sizes at Bikebandit. I think the new tires are bigger than stock, but not by much. Would you trust Michelins?

I'd much rather trust a Michelin tube than a cheap no-name tube.

I like the michlin tube the best they do weight more wich some arrgue is bad but they don't puncture as easy and i can't tell the diff in rotating mass i dobt anyone realy could. Bridgestone and Kings tire are the other two brand of tubes I've had luck with.
