Did a segment on their "Cafe Racer" CB550. They were changing jets and synchronizing the carbs. It's a neat bike. If you get a chance to see any episodes related to the bike I'd recommend you check it out.

Saw that episose over the weekend - not bad at all!

I love the cafe-racer concept and that CB is a really nice ride. But, if the builder wasn't so focused on the "artsy" stuff, he'd have it finished and on the road NOW instead of whining it will be another couple of years before it's done.

Those intricate-design case covers just don't do anything for me. His confession that the tank and rear body section are destined for the same treatment left me - underwhelmed.......

But, everything else is pretty darn sweet!

yes, the sidecovers were a bit over the top--form trumping function which sort of contradicts the philosophy in my mind, but I wish they'd done something like that starting with a Z1.
