What are some neat old bikes I could find cheap?

I was presenting it as a more reliable, better all-around alternative that you can give the same look too. Though, in motorcycle terms, the SV650 is full of mid 90's tech.

Bikes don't depreciate like cars. A decent bike is really never worth less than $2k, unless you start looking for salvage titles and stuff, which you should consider.

I'd suggest you try to find a 920 Virago. Although the starter probably needs to be repaired it's a relatively easy fix.

Great bike - look for the chain drive version for extra points
