Café bars but a flat tracker seat.

These are nice too. http://www.pipeburn.com/

The custom motorcycle styles seem to be blending together a lot. I refer to almost anything with the knobby off-road tires (that wouldn't normally have them) as a "scrambler".

custom. That is one of the best things about a bike build is that it is easy to make it unique.

I agree. I'm a little puzzled by these customs that are so obviously built for looks vs actually riding. I suppose its simply a world I won't understand, much like Stance or making pickups into frame scraping low riders. I guess its and art form. I'm not an artist, so turning something useable into something thats not purely for asthetics is something I can't wrap my head around.

Ca-Bobber is what I'd call it.

Retro Bob is what I call it. It's not a true bobber and it's got some modern bits, retro bobber.

Bobbish? The black/blue BMW is interesting....The swingarm/shaft drive looks newer than the style of the bike would indicate, but still air cooled, fancy brakes, minimalist, but with a nod to functionality with the fenders. I wonder what size the wheels are?

Bobbers have never had much appeal to me; my personal take is that they always look like only half a motorcycle and I find functional rear suspension makes riding more pleasant. But I guess to each his own. I do find the blending of styles really interesting, with lines blurring and bobber, scrambler, cafe racer looks creeping into all kinds of custom builds.

I really, really love the way some builders are blending bits of street tracker, supermoto, and cafe elements into one:

I rode hardtail for years and loved it

I know they have rear suspension, but some bobbers have so little wheel travel...

The raptor has no real suspension travel, and a fiberglass seat that is part of the race tail......my '04 10r has suspension, stock tail, and seat and is less comfortable....

i think anything that has the rear of the frame shortened, or bobbed, would fall under a bobber. I consider my bike a bobber and a quick google search would show similar bikes.

heres my bike without the seat: <img src=" photo 769187DA-37BE-47A1-9484-11BAC81031A7.jpg" />

The solo seat on the BMW is a nod to the old plunger frame /2s, which are damn good looking bikes.

This is a bobbette, this is what your motorcycle looks like when you have no penis.
