Hello folks. I recently bought a 98 318 with that 1.9. Had gasket was blown so I got it for next to nothin. So, I took the head off and into my machinest and it's warped .012. I have him take .015 off and got a .060 gasket from Cometic and put it back together, torqued it to regular specs. 30 nM then 90°-90°. Got it running first try. I mean fired up right away, which insured my timing was correct. Not even going into timing on one of those things. At any rate, it ran for about 15 minutes and won't take antifreeze and is bubbling out the radiator just a tiny bit. Acting like it's blown already. Anyone have a clue?

These can be tricky to bleed. Google E36 coolant bleeding and you should find a ton of threads on it.
There should be a little bleed valve on the top of the radiator, if I remember my wife's old car correctly, and you have to open it while you fill the system. It lets air out so things will fill up completely.
My e36 (6 cylinder motor) was always a hassle to bleed until I figured out to park uphill. That helped a lot.
You replaced the head bolts, yes?

when I've change coolant (granted it wasn't a BMW) I've just rolled it up on ramps to get the radiator as high as I could
