My son just bought a 2018 Jeep Wrangler. It seems to run really hot. Fan doesn’t come on until 215 degrees on gauge then it cools down as long as fan is on. Talked to several people who say this is normal for new jeeps. What do you all think?

Looking at the Jeep forum this sounds pretty normal. Call the dealer to confirm.
Yes. My brother got a new jeep before and he was stress because he thought that the dealer gave him a used car but clarified it with them that the temperature is really like that.
Just asked him what he did and he installed something like https://www.allmoparparts.com/sku/82212382ab.html just to lessen the heat since he can't really tolerate it. Hope this helps.
Hi. Jeep is reported to really have extreme heat sometimes so I guess it is pretty normal! But a few years ago, there are reports that Jeep suddenly just caught on fire so I suggest having a proper check-up from your mechanic.
