and know all the timing it right on.. i will not be driving the car for a short time as i build the new wiring harness and the feul system to fit the car ( ecotec into a alfa romeo spider ) could i use a impact wrench to spin the engine over at speed to get the oil pressure into the engine. thanks for the help

Was the answer to use a heavy duty power drill on the crankshaft pulley? Or is there a more elegant way to do it?
If you used assembly lube I don't see any reason to spin it over to build pressure, unless you are worried about checking that it will build pressure.
