664 miles round trip.
highest mpg 20.5
lowest: 14.0
no oil used. no issues at all to speak of, other than snow.
this truck pulled wonderfully. only going uphill did we even notice the added car behind us. occasionally we had some sway issues, and stopping left much to be desired, to be honest. but nothing unmanageable or unsafe. we put 40psi in the load bags, and it rode comfortably. the uhaul experience was quick and simple.
i woke up this morning at 4:15, had a cup of coffee and a shower, and left my grand mother in laws house at about 5:15 or so. had 75 miles from her place to newport news, where i was getting the dolly. got there at 6:45, and they didnt open until 7. so i checked fluids, organized the cab of the truck a little better, etc.
the uhaul dealer was 12 minutes from the R/T, which was on the back row at the chevy dealer the owner works at.
got there at about 7:30, and the owner didnt show until 7:45

got it loaded with the assistance of an electric push cart that nate pulled from inside the dealership. i want one now. we aired up the load bags and neon tires, double checked things, and hit the road headed for Albemarle.
gratuitous gas station picture at about 50 miles in.

no pictures until i got home. and by the time we pulled in here, it started snowing. its already snowing in newport news, so i tossed nate the keys to the BMW, we unloaded the neon, pushed it under the carport, and he headed north again. we made plans to go get the ACR and all the spare parts next saturday, and head to the DMV to do all the title work for the three cars monday morning before i go to work and he heads home.
so far, im extremely happy with the deal we worked out, and he seems to be as well. hopefully the BMW treats him well.
