Good evening all!

I'm looking for suggestions on possible places to park my Honda Fit before and between a couple California rounds of Gridlife Sundae Cup!

I live in central Florida, but I'll be driving from Road America to LAX in mid September. I'll be looking to park my Honda Fit, hopefully somewhere near LAX for a bit. Then I'll be flying to work an SRO event in Sebring before flying back to LAX to run my car in Sundae Cup at the Gridlife event at Willow Springs.

After that event I'll be looking to park again near LAX to fly to work an SRO event at Indy and the IMSA Petit LeMans event at Road Atlanta. Then I'll fly back to LAX to drive to Laguna Seca for my next Gridlife event in Sundae Cup.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!

I'm also going to check in where I added my "on the road/emergency help thread.  To see if anyone is local to the LAX area!

Please someone give him a hand or packing spot.  Jason "Catch22" is a great guy and always one to help a fellow racer / car guy. Met him about 19 years ago at a Honda autocross/ car show in Central Florida when my shifter broke on my EG hatch (miss that car).  He showed up with a spare and helped me change it out. We have been friends ever since. Always finds time and goes out of his way to spend time with me and my family.  He is also the main reason why I am back in a Honda (2009 Fit) getting back into track days and autocross.

If no one bites, my old trick was to do one of the hotels near by.  They'll often do a free shuttle and parking if you book a room.

How many days is the trip?  Book a room for the end of your trip, park at the hotel, and then pay for the room even if you don't use it.  One night at a hotel for free parking isn't bad if it's a longer trip.  If it's just a few days, parking at the airport becomes cheaper.

Thank you for the offer.  I will keep this in mind.

Maybe I'll at least shoot to stop by on my way back to LAX?  I will not have time on the way up for sure!

I was looking into an airport parking option!  Thanks for the reminder!  I have used the hotel option a couple times in Chicago last year, but didn't cross my mind for this occasion!

It looks like I may have a potential option near LAX for the week before the Gridlife event at Willow Springs.  If not, I'll look further into the airport or hotel options.

Oct 20th-22nd Do Fit things with my Fit Friends in Sundae Cup at Gridlife Laguna Seca

Oct 23rd and on - Road trip back to Florida, with stops to visit old and new friends along the way.  Route TBD!?!

On my way west/east the current desired stops are.

Atlanta, New Orleans, ?Mississippi, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Phoenix, Various Cali, Tahoe, Denver, St Louis, Knoxville, Tail of the Dragon, Ashville, Greenville SC, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Home.

Sorry for the book written above!  But that is the timeline I'm working with!  Glad the Fit is as bullet proof as it is!!!

It is similarly crazy in the months leading up to this.  But for those road trips and events I have friends and family near most of those areas, which helps the planing!!!
