I had a set of nice, short US made ratchet straps that I bought at the Big Tool Store in Wichita 17 years ago. They were perfect, but over the years the material has become quite stiff, and a couple of them have tears.
Looking up the manufacturer on the tag, they seem to be out of business today.
So who's the go-to for US made ratcheting tie downs? I had a 6' and 10' long pair of straps, and they were perfect for tying the car down without needing to deal with a ton of extra slack. My new trailer will be even shorter, so I'm not looking for anything super big.
Looking onine, most brands with "USA" in the title seem like blatant chineseium. Any suggestions?
I have https://www.macscustomtiedowns.com/ They seem somewhat USA based.
I just bought some Mac's cam locks last week.
I also throw a chain around a chassis / rear axle just because ,
3rd for Mac's. I just got a set after searching for American made straps and they feel very high quality compared to anything I've had in the past

They will build the exact straps you want - color, type of ends, and length to the inch..
Just get them from Mac's. They're that good.
4th or 5th for Mac's. I got blue. They're very nice.

And... yet another plug for Macs. I'm up to three different sets at this point.... short, long and over the tire. Not cheap but great quality.

I have a couple of products from these guys and have been very happy with them. I may pick up some straps from them when the time comes.
