Just wondering if anybody approached you to ship their cars out of Cuba and to the US? I read this article recently about the possibility and wonder if there's anybody willing to part with their classics there.

No, quite the opposite. I was told that it is very difficult for a Cuban to import a car to Cuba, so as a result, they rarely sell their cars. I was quoted some prices while I was there and found that the cars are very expensive because it is so hard to replace them. The cars are often handed down thru the family because the younger generation cannot afford to buy one. As far as exporting one of the classics, I did not see many that would be worth the effort. With the salt air humid climate, the cars had lots of rust repairs and lots of body filler.
