2015 Lexus LS 460 new car reviews

It doesn't exactly appear to be the sportiest car out there.
The interior is as comfortable as ever.

The Lexus LS series has been a steadfast player in the luxury sedan field for years. Lately, they seem to be taking a little bit more of a turn towards performance. The LS 460 we got to test is a prime example. It's powered by a 4.6-liter V8 that cranks out almost 400 horsepower, all while maintaining the expected posh features. This combination comes with a fairly heft price tag, of course. A base ls 460 will set you back over $72,000.

Here, I'll cut to the chase: most amazing car I have driven in a while.

Bam, done.

Okay, you want some more to read?

It's practical. I love the useful way-back cargo hold. It easily swallowed a guitar plus my usual junk.

Up front is roomy. Seats are awesome. Gauges are perfect. Everything you touch has that German feel to it.

It's not quite Viper-quick, but it's fast enough for us mere mortals. Brakes felt awesome. Handling is way better than it should be for something this big.

Then there's the looks. Wow. Understated. Classy.

I could live with this as my sole car for many years, I think. I'm giving it five stars across the board.

This is probably the smoothest car i have ever driven. It completely isolates you from the outside world. With and great mix of power and handling thrown in, make this the almost perfect automobile, if there is such a thing.

The exterior was attractive to look at and the interior and all feateres found within were again, perfect. The only negative I could come up with is that the brakes seemed a little touchy.

Other than that, I could live with this car a long time and not grow tired of it.

There should be a curve to the ratings. I mean, for 75k, I kinda expect it to be good. So, how does it stack up against other 75k offerings. Or, for that matter, how does it stack up against something I can get for half the money?

"view original review" \/ in gray brings you there.

Cool car, I can't wait till they're $7500 because rich folks wouldn't be caught dead in a 15 year old car

It certainly sounds like an awesome car. I am not a fan of the current Lexus exterior design language. The front grill area just does not do anything for me.

I am not the target demographic for an LS460 at this point so my likes and dislikes are kind of a mute point.
