2020 Lincoln Navigator Reserve new car reviews

Since its redesign for the 2018 model year, the Lincoln Navigator's sales have been trending up, up, up: from 10,523 for 2017 to 18,656 for 2019. The Navigator isn't a common trackside support vehicle, but it’s contributing to the bottom line.

Close your eyes and put yourself in the shoes of someone shopping for a full-size, upmarket SUV from a more traditional nameplate. Then the Navigator makes sense.

Yes, it’s big. It’s loaded with extras–all of them.

Why not a Ford instead? Wouldn’t that be more practical? Yes, but it doesn’t wear the premium badge.

Something for the gearheads from the Navigator, though. Check out the drivetrain: It features a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 450 horsepower along with 510 lb.-ft. of torque backed by a 10-speed automatic. On the road, power delivery is smooth and seamless.
