Need a big, big SUV? Can the Ford Expedition scratch that itch?

Riddle me this: The more I drove it, the more I liked it.
I know, I’m surprised as well.
First, yeah, it’s big. Really big.
But while the Ford Excursion is big, how come it doesn’t drive that big? Like, it’s big but not horrible to park or use.
Sure, you see eye-level with other full-size trucks, but after a while, the Expedition wasn’t terrible as a daily. Chassis tuning? Sorcery?
The Expedition is also quiet on the highway. And comfortable. Love the seats.
Plenty of power. Smooth transmission. No ill manners felt from behind the wheel.
In the Limited trim with the blacked-out wheels, it even looks the business.
But I didn’t like having to use the screen to change the HVAC. Want to change the temperature or fan speed? Now you’re taking your eyes off the road. Or at least I had to.
