We’d driven a lot of Santa Fes lately–hybrid, plug-in hybrid and, now, the gas-powered Calligraphy variant.

We’re not SUV Motorsports, but here’s our take on the Santa Fe in general: It’s really, really good at being an SUV.

It’s the right size inside and out, the driving experience is spot-on, it delivers fine touch points, the controls make sense, and it just looks good.

Can’t remember driving a Santa Fe and thinking that there’s a better option out there. However, more than once I have wished that I could trade a competing SUV for a Santa Fe.
