Defending champs Ed Malle and company returned to the $2000 Challenge with a bigger hammer: a turbocharged, LS1-powered Mustang. But the effort fell off the rails once in Gainesville, as wiring issues kept the car on the sideline all weekend. For the glory, though, fellow entrants made sure the car still got a run through the pylons.

Make your own low-buck memories at the Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack, held March 29-30, 2025.

Typically, power is measured in horsepower. However, it might be more apropos to measure this in manpower. 5 mp?

I would think those dudes could probably make 1 hp on average for an autocross course.

What was the time?

Did they make any suspension changes to cut a few tenths and make a second run?

Was this a run with a pro in the car?

What was the drag time?

Lolz.
