This *ahem* wicked-fast racing machine will rip through the tricky Barber track and hopefully not break down.

Who’s racing this weekend?

Grassroots Motorsports is racing this weekend.

If you’re racing, too—or just looking to get away from the traffic maelstrom that is Atlanta—head to beautiful Barber Motorsports Park this weekend. We’ll be hopefully turning a million laps (probably just to burn off our BS penalty) and not tearing up the manicured grass at the facility.

Spectators can get an all-access pass for just $30 at the gate. All you have to do is walk in and pay up, and you can see all these low-dollar racing machines live and in the rust. A LeMons race is excellent fun to watch, partly because of the variety of cars present and the themes they bring. If you hang out by the penalty box, you can watch hapless drivers submit to the will of the LeMons Supreme Court’s punishments for car-to-car contact or off-track excursions. It’s a very effective tool at keeping the racing clean.

See the race schedule at the 24 Hours of LeMons event page, and stop by our hooptie to say hello to Alan, Tom, Rennie, Johnny and Ed.
