If Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc where you are and you work in the automotive aftermarket, you can get help in the form of financial assistance. That aid comes courtesy of the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF).

Who’s AACF? It’s an organization that’s funded by many generous companies and individuals, including SEMA. It not only provides financial aid for those affected by Hurricane Helene specifically, but other catastrophic events as well. That includes “floods, earthquakes, storms and fires; catastrophic medical conditions; life-changing accidents and devastating fatalities.”

Who qualifies for aid? Those working in the automotive aftermarket industry for at least one year with one company or three years with different companies in the industry. Their immediate family members also qualify.

AACF says it delivers aid “faster than most employer and government programs (like FEMA).” They add that the average support sent is around $2500.
