Whether competitive or not, I always love seeing what wild creations show up.

If it’s cold and snowy where you are, we have just the thing for you to beat those winter blues: The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack. This is the low-buck adventure in the Sunshine State that’s calling your name.
Winter projects help make time fly by when it seems like it’s always dark out. Fortunately, a project for the $2000 Challenge won’t break the bank. For less than $2000 and in a little over 2 months, you can prepare an entry for the $2000 Challenge. That’s all it takes.
Or, perhaps, you already have a ride collecting dust in your shop. Brush it off, put some fuel in it and you can bring it, too–even if it’s worth more than $2000 as we have an over-budget class.
The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack takes place on March 29-30 at Gainesville Raceway in Florida. The event consists of autocross, drag racing and a concours ($2000 Challenge competitors only). Plus, there’s a Hagerty Cars & Coffee, a swap meet and more.

For more information, visit 2000challenge.com.
One more thing. if two days at the $2000 Challenge isn’t enough, there’s a track day the day after the $2000 Challenge, on Monday, March 31. It takes place at our official test track, the Florida International Rally & Motorsport Park, aka the FIRM. You can sign up for that here.
The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge is Presented by Tire Rack, in Association with HPX Show, BendPak, CRC Industries and Miller Electric.
Well now. I certainly can't finish the car that I have not yet begun buying parts for. And besides, it's covered with snow. Lame excuse, I know.

Sure, you can. And, hey, they make snow brushes and shovels.
This'll be the first year I miss in a long time :( I wanted to run the K24 914 in over budget class, but a vacation got scheduled for the same weekend.
