Hopefully this doesn't jinx it, but has the GRM office ever been damaged by a hurricane?

Due to Hurricane Milton, the GRM offices will close at noon on Wednesday, October 9, and remain closed through the end of the week. GRM’s home base sits just north of Daytona Beach, Florida.
What does this mean for you? Correspondence and reader service inquiries will resume on Monday, October 14. The editorial hoppers for our website and social media channels have been filled. As long as we have power, you’ll likely find us hanging out on our forum. Chatter on Hurricane Milton can be found in this thread.

Our previous building took on water a few times, but nothing that would have made the news.
Much of the staff works at home with a few outside of Florida. That helps keep things flowing in instances like this.
As long as no one took the red stapler, you should be okay!

HAHAHA! No danger of fire either...
I was surprised to see how ugly the weather already is in Daytona.
We have a place over in Spring Hill, so I share your concern.....stay safe and dry !
