The Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge presented by Tire Rack will be here before you know it, so book your accommodations now before you forget.
The Best Western Gateway Grand in Gainesville, Florida, will not only serve as our host hotel, but also the hub for the entire event. It’ll be the site of the Parking Lot Build, typically located in the back of the hotel. You will also see other competitors there putting the final touches on their rides, too.

Both cars built for less than $2000 and those over that amount can compete, although in their own respective classes. I came down on Thursday night the last 2 years. Nothing much going on at that point. It does start kicking off on Friday mid morning towards noon.
Also, are there any non king suites available?
2 beds would be more better for me and my buddies.
Just booked! They only have kings available that weekend, but some have a pull-out sofa bed.
Booked, now I just need to spend every waking hour finishing the car.
Which airport is best for flying in?

Gainesville only has one airport. (GNV) They are now up to to airlines. American and Delta airlines.

I saw that but was thinking it would be cheaper/easier to fly into one of the surrounding larger cities.
