I work in commercial 3d printing if anyone comes across stuff that NLA and if you can re-create it with a 3D model we can print it for you let me know.
For the most part, when those plastic trim pieces break, it's not too hard to source a replacement. But what if it's a part that's no longer produced, hard to find, or maybe you'd just rather fix it yourself?
We found ourselves in that very boat with a broken A-pillar cover on our Volkswagen Rabbit GTI project car. Since parts for cars like the Rabbit are becoming increasingly scarce, we decided to fix it ourselves. As you can see, it's not particularly difficult.
