The craziest part of the Concours d'Lemons California? It isn’t that they managed to get invited back for 2024, but that they managed to add even more classes for entrants to win.
Joining the coveted “Worst of Show” trophy will be the “This Car Should Have Been a Lawsuit” and “Most Dangerous” trophies.
The new trophies are presented by Conn Law PC, a California-based consumer protection law firm that specializes in–get this–Lemon Law and Auto Fraud, and Hagerty Insurance, respectively.
The Worst of Show winner will also receive a watch from Swiss independent watchmaker Oris that “without a doubt, will run longer and better than any vehicle worthy of such an honor,” notes the Concours d’Lemons.
The 2024 Concours d'Lemons California is set for August 16 on the lawn of Seaside City Hall in Seaside, California, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Spectating is free, though individuals interested in displaying their terrible cars can register here.
