Love that wire wheel Cobra. Superformance has an awesome product lineup these days.
These iconic Shelbys may look classic, but hidden underneath those old-school body panels are modern touches that improve performance and handling.
Built by Revology and Superformance, these continuation cars can be thought of as faithful attempts to recreate the feel of the Shelby-built originals—but with parts added to amplify the driving experience.
Sure, some may cry sacrilege, but we like to think of these cars as time machines that perfectly blend modern technology and old-school charm.

"So, what we have here is a 435-horsepower Shelby that pulls like a locomotive while carrying a host of goodies like keyless entry and LED bulbs in its door handles."
I like the modern engine, but LEDs in the door handles seems kind of silly.
The wheels on the GT350 look silly.
The Cobra looks very close to the real thing. Very properly done, just get rid of the distributor cap and coloured fittings.
I really, really like the Cobra.
Those wheels on the GT350 are a modern version of the ten spoke style Shelby used in 1967 and 1968. I don't think they look too bad on a 1965/1966 car, but would prefer something more like the American five spoke wheels they used on competition cars.

The style is fine (finished a GT500KR two years ago). I just think the size looks silly.
I've always wished that there were more continuation cars than just Cobras, GT40's, and the like. I'm sure there about a million reasons why we don't see it, but I'm sure some fresh shells for most popular classic cars would be more than welcome by their respective communities. It would help with parts supply for things like trim and glass, which can be tricky to source, for even more mass produced cars. So how about a Superformance spin off than makes some body in white 2002's, MKI GTI's, RX-7's, etc. I'm sure the list could go on and on.
The only way I can hope to experience a classic like any of these is a continuation car- so I'm in. Plus, I like the whole modern guts classic look thing. As awesome as old school cars were...the reality is they were pretty terrible. I may have gotten soft, but I like things like AC.... decent seats... fuel injection....
