But speaking of cool cars in old videos:
Yeah, it only took us 38 years to realize that there’s an Amphicar in Madonna’s Burning Up video.
Maybe were distracted by the lasers (pew, pew).
Maybe we stepped away from the TV for a minute to grab a snack while waiting for the latest Def Leppard video.
But there it is: a blue Amphicar. Some dude’s driving it but, wait, then Madonna is driving it. We’re sure that our 12-year-old brains couldn’t process what was really going on here.
The bigger question, of course: What is like to drive an Amphicar in real life? And is it just as good/terrible on water as it is on land?

That thing is sitting so high the plane could have flown under it.

I assume that A) it's probably not real, and B) it's so they could do more off-roading like that one part where they spun into the gravel.
