#FastFriday: LS-swapped Nissan 350Z that will do it all

What does Phillip Jue love most about his Nissan 350Z? He says, “This car will do anything you ask it to do–drag, drift, time attack, etc.” Phillip will put that to the test, the ultimate test, if you will, at the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge Presented by Grassroots Motorsports.

Phillip bought the Nissan in 2019, with its original engine, at 80,000 miles. While the power plant proved reliable for years, it eventually lost compression in cylinder No. 5. Then, Phillip pulled the engine May 2024, did an LS swap with bolt-on parts, and voila, you have the motorsport machine you see here. As far as mods, Phillip used an ISR engine swap kit, Link ECU, RedShift BC coil-overs, Hotchkis front sway bar, Swift springs, GKTech spherical bearings and upper control arms, Nismo front calipers, Enkei RPF1 18x10.5 +15 square setup wheels, Nine Lives Racing aero and a plywood splitter. Philip says the car puts out 330 horses and weighs 3330 pounds.
