It’s time to start your 2025 calendars, if you haven’t already. Global Time Attack announced five dates to save for next season.

The schedule looks quite a bit like last year’s.

Key changes include Super Lap Battle at CoTA moving a month back, from March to April. Pikes Peak off the July 4th to the weekend before. Ridge Motorsports Park moves to the weekend before the 2024 date. The Podium Club in Arizona does not have a scheduled date next season.

April 11-13: Circuit of The Americas, Austin, Texas
May 9-10: Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Braselton, Ga.
June 28-29: Pikes Peak International Raceway, Fountain, Colo.
August 16-17: Ridge Motorsports Park, Shelton, Wash.
November 7-9: Buttonwillow Raceway Park, Buttonwillow, Calif.

Count me in at Road Atlanta. GTA shares the track with Formula Drift. Bring your kids, too - it's fun for everyone.

In reply to J.A. Ackley :

When we went to HSR Daytona over the weekend, my kiddo didn't seem to enjoy watching the cars race by as much as sitting in them.

I bet she'd get a kick out of drifting, though.

Depends on a rules question I just sent in.  Supercars have to run in Limited as a min class, which requires a roll bar.  Sorry, not going to sully my precious with a roll bar.  720 Monocell II full carbon tub, including overhead, is better than a roll bar anyway.

But, there is a "safety loophole" to avoid that providing you leave the OE safety systems in place (bags, seats, belts, full interior, street tagged).  Also says vehicle must remain "stock" other than power adders of pipes and tune.

Question is whether "stock" applies to everything else, or just "stock drivetrain".  I'd like to add aftermarket aero.

I guess GTA is going to update their website with 2025 events after Buttonwillow this weekend?

"Global" seems a stretch with 4 West-coast events and one in the South.
