It’s always interesting to take a closer look at a well prepared race car, whether it’s a $500 ChampCar or a front-running Formula 1 entry. We’ve got a special opportunity to do just that tonight, when the Riley Motorsports Team AMG No. 33 Mercedes-AMG GT3 heads into town for the Roar Before The Rolex 24. Before it gets tucked into its garage at Daytona International Speedway, its first stop will be in our studio for an appearance on Grassroots Motorsports LIVE!
Tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern, we’ll give you a live look at the car, the team, and the prep that goes into fielding a competitive Rolex 24 entry.
Oh, and since every race car needs a tow vehicle, we’ve kindly offered to carry the Mercedes into the track aboard Project Ramp Truck. At the end of the show, we’ll load the priceless car onto our vintage ramp truck for its Thursday morning trip to DIS.
