Brake Kleen is for 99% of the jobs, right?
What do all these cans even do!?!? Our shops are full of chemicals. They clean, lubricate, grease, degrease and perform hundreds of other functions. But how do you know that you’re using the right tool for the job?
This Wednesday on GRM Live we’ll talk to Scott Brownstein of CRC Industries. Together we’re going to dive into the actual science behind some of our favorite automotive chemicals–and, perhaps, learn which ones make the best flame throwers. (We’re kidding, of course.)
Join in live at 9 p.m. Eastern tonight (Wednesday, June 21) right here on Facebook. Also, for the first time we’ll be simulcasting our live show on our YouTube channel as well.

100% if you don't care what's left when you're done.

I thought the new hotness was using Screw Loose on everything as a degreaser. That way you don't have to lubricate it either.
On a serious note though I actually do want to see for myself if their CRC's GDI Intake Valve Cleaner works the magic that they say it does. That's actually a real and present problem for me.
CRC was running Facebook contests where they would give away cases of BrakeKleen. I won just before Christmas last year and The Wife said I looked like the father in A Christmas Story unpacking his leg lamp. I use it for everything though I find in my old age it stings a bit when I clean out cuts with it now.
And a look at tonight's crew:
JG on camera.
Ed working the camera.
And I'll be monitoring the comments.
See everyone this evening at 9 p.m Eastern on Facebook, YouTube and, yes, the message board.
I know a guy who can get you the right chemicals. You just have to decide whether to smoke them or bake them into brownies.
I'll be monitoring this thread tonight. If you have questions, post them here and I'll relay them to JG.
Thanks.
