Hang With Us This Weekend at the Japanese Classic Car Show

Our editorial director, David S. Wallens, is on his way out to California tomorrow. While he’s there he’ll be attending the Japanese Classic Car Show on Saturday, September 23, in Long Beach. If you’re at the show, keep an eye out for a Grassroots Motorsports hat and give him a hello. Can’t make it to the event? We’ll be posting all the cool stuff we see on our Facebook page. I was there... Cool show... I think I spotted some dude with GRM hat and sideburns talking with a couple of guys on my way out...

I went twice. Incredible. John Morton, Peter Brock, Mazda designers, Les Canaday, Hot Wheels designers, and Datsun's Mr. K's secretary Johnnie.

Both years I showed up at sunrise and watched the cars line up and enter the grounds. Incredible.

On my hard drive! I know, lame answer. I got in late last night, slept 12 hours, and spent all day today helping push the next issue of Classic Motorsports out the door. (And now I have to go buy a new kitchen faucet as we had a small flood while I was gone.)
