Honda loves surprises. How do we know? Because its next-gen Prelude concept made a surprise debut at the L.A. Auto Show.
No new details are being offered on the Prelude concept besides what we already know from the Japan Mobility Show late last month.
Want to see the Prelude for yourself? It’ll be on display at the L.A. Auto Show through November 26.
It is a two door car...... Honda won't sell it here. Four doors are the forced fad to buy. Looks like a decent car to me.
It looks a lot less ungainly than the final Civic coupes we received.
I always felt like the final Accord coupes were too big while the Civic coupes were a little too small. It's hard to judge size from photos but it looks like this is somewhere in the middle?
I doubt it's going to be a liftback and a manual option is a pipe dream, but it'd be nice if they at least didn't make the same mistake as the CR-Z and offered an Si trim or something with more power and good suspension.
It's an EV, isn't it? So no manual transmission option. It is a good looking car, though, and it's nice to finally see a sporty EV that isn't a big truck or SUV that may be priced for average people.

It's ready to go on our part.
I feel very confident Honda wont get out of its own way and this is going to have some HYBRID garbage for the Non Enthusiast.

I'm going to take a wild guess here that it will be the hybrid drivetrain out of the Accord mated to their CVT.
The styling of the stock photo is amazing and I love it.
