It is bad that my attention was drawn to "free t-shirt" first, before seeing "$100?"

Think attending the $2000 Challenge can’t get any better? How does getting paid to help make the low-buck magic happen sound?
We are currently hiring autocross workers for our Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge presented by Tire Rack, May 27-28. The job is pretty straightforward: Workers will be standing near the autocross course in the parking lot of Gainesville Raceway. When cars hit cones, they’ll walk onto the course to reset the cones and use a radio to alert timing & scoring.
Please note: Workers must be 18 years of age or older, and must be able to move around, pick up cones, and maintain awareness of their surroundings. At this time, we are currently looking for both full- and half-day workers and will need 15 in total to make this event a success.
What’s in it for the workers? Each full-day course worker will receive $100, a free T-shirt, free lunch and free spectator access to the evening’s drag racing. They’ll also receive the limitless gratitude of our competitors and attendees, and they’ll see the autocross from the best viewing area possible–the middle of the course.
Don’t want to work all day? Sign up for just the morning or afternoon shift. Half-day workers will receive $50, a free T-shirt, free lunch and free spectator access to the evening’s drag racing. (Half-day workers who choose to race in the autocross may only run for exhibition due to changing course conditions.)
For more information, including how to sign up to be a worker, visit 2000challenge.com/volunteer.

Doh.
Is this significantly earlier than normal? I recall aiming for a fall deadline lo these many years ago
In reply to P3PPY :
Yep. We got tired of dodging tropical systems and UF game dates in the fall.

Oop, good catch. Corrected (the post--you're on your own with the drawers).
If members of a challenge team who aren't driving during the autocross, work the autocross, would the amount they earn count towards budget recoup?
